Iraq, in Transparency International’s annual report, was ranked as the tenth most corrupt country globally, tied with Zimbabwe, Cambodia, and Honduras, with a score of 23 out of 100. While showing a slight improvement by moving up three places from the bottom in 2021, Iraq still lags significantly behind the global average of 43.
