Kurdistan 24 – KRG delegation participated in 27th St. Petersburg Economic Forum

The Chairman of the Kurdistan Board of Investment, Mohammed Shukri, has confirmed that a Kurdish delegation attended the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, according to Kurdistan 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin was also present at the event, Reuters has reported. The news comes despite what are throught to be cordial relations between the US and the KRG, with United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken recently praising the US and Kurdistan’s “partnership that is cemented first and foremost in shared values, [and] shared interests.”
