The Telegraph has reported that Gary Kent, an aide to British opposition MP Mary Glindon, received £400,000 from oil firms linked to the Barzanis. He, along with Glindon, allegedly promoted the region’s interests in Parliament. Kent, also the secretary of the Kurdistan Region in Iraq All-Party Parliamentary Group, was paid by the Kar Group, a Kurdish oil and construction company with ties to Masrour Barzani.
