KRG President Nechirvan Barzani attended the inauguration ceremony of Iran’s new President Masoud Pezeshkian in Tehran. President Barzani was accompanied by a high-level delegation that included KRG Vice President Sheikh Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa, KRG Interior Minister Rebar Ahmed and his Chief of Staff Fawzi Hariri. This visit comes as the clan pursues increasingly contradictory international relationships, balancing its ties with the US against burgeoning partnerships with Iran.
