Kurdistan 24 – President Barzani thanks Italian PM for Italy’s support

Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani is on an official visit to Rome, where he is set to meet with Pope Francis and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. The Kurdish delegation said that discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations, expanding cooperation, and addressing common interests. Italy, as a member of the international coalition against ISIS, has supported the Kurdistan Region’s Peshmerga forces in the fight against the terrorist organization.
