Rudaw – PM Barzani, US National Security Advisor discuss KRG-US relations

Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani has met with US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan in Washington DC. The pair discussed US-KRG relations, recent attacks on the region, and budget talks between Erbil and Baghdad, Rudaw reported. Sullivan also “affirmed support for the security of the Kurdistan region and condemned attacks by Iran and Iranian-backed proxy groups against locations there”, according to a White House readout.
