Kurdistan Region President Nechrivan Barzani and the UK Ambassador to Iraq, Irfan Siddiq, discussed the need to resolve the ongoing financial dispute between the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and the Federal Government of Iraq, according to a statement from the KRG. The Iraqi Government stopped paying the KRG’s financial entitlements in April, alleging that the KRG failed to hand over its revenues, Rudaw reports.
