Medya – Teachers’ strike in Iraqi Kurdistan gains nationwide support

Teachers and civil servants are on strike in Sulaymaniyah following the nonpayment of December’s salaries, Medya has reported. The group has accused the Kurdistan Regional Government of “financial mismanagement”, according to the report, which added that public sector salary delays “have become a recurrent issue in the Kurdistan Region.”
