ANF – The Universities of the Barzani Dynasty

Members of the Barzani family have significant influence in two universities in Kurdistan and “govern them as they please”, ANF has reported. The recently-opened British International University in Erbil, for example, belongs to Masrour Barzani’s son, Arain Barzani. According to the report, Arain Barzani is “only in his early twenties.” The University of Kurdistan meanwhile is run by Mir Idris Nechirvan Barzani, the son of Nechirvan Barzani, the report added.
