Rudaw – Russia says trade ties with Kurdistan improving

Trade relations between Russia and Kurdistan are “developing”, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson cited by Rudaw. In a press briefing, spokesperson Maria Zakharova added that “the improvement of relations is in the interest of both sides.” According to Rudaw, Russian oil companies Lukoil, Gazprom Neft, and Rosneft all have operations in Kurdistan.
